The intersection of Girard & Frankford Ave is just steps from the Market-Frankford Subway (AKA “The El”), which runs every 5-10 minutes during peak hours, so leave the car at home! From Center City, take the Market-Frankford (Blue) Line East toward the Frankford Transportation Center and use the Girard or Berks stop depending on your final destination..
To approximately Frankford and Girard:
From points South: From I-95 N, take Exit 22 toward Callowhill Street, turn right on 5th Street, right on Spring Garden Street, left onto N Front Street to Girard Ave
From points North: From I-95 S, take Exit 23 toward Girard Ave/Delaware Ave, keep left to take the Girard Ave ramp, merge onto Aramingo Ave, slight right onto E Girard Ave
From points West: From I-76, take I-676/Vine Street Expressway to Exit 344 toward Central Philadelphia. Merge onto I-95 N via the exit on the left toward Trenton, take Exit 23 toward Girard Ave/Lehigh Ave, turn right onto Richmond St, which will become Delaware Avenue. Delaware Avenue connects to Frankford Ave at SugarHouse Casino.
From points East: From I-676 W, take 5th Street exit, keep left follow signs for Vine Street and merge onto N 5th Street, right onto Spring Garden Street, left onto N Front Street
From any Center City train station, follow signs for the Market-Frankford (Blue) Line and take the subway East toward the Frankford Transportation Center, use the Girard or Berks stop depending on your final destination.
